In multiple battery applications that have unequal demand characteristics (i.e. trolling vs. cranking) a “charge on demand” charger has a tendency to either overcharge and outgas the full battery or undercharge the lower battery. The Guest “single board - single battery” design eliminates these worries and addresses the battery needs on an individual basis, using electronic switch mode technology that “reads” each battery and carries it through three distinct phases of charge.
