Unlike all other IEC re-wireable connectors, which have difficult-to-use ‘binding screws,’ Marinco’s IEC connectors use exclusive Perma-Lock™ terminals which have collar-lug overleaves that “lock up” as the contact tangs tighten down on the wires, virtually eliminating the need to ever retighten the terminals.

In addition, Marinco is the only manufacturer with long, deep ‘funnel’ wire pockets to easily guide the insertion of wires. The end result is faster assembly times and more durable terminations.
Marinco’s cord clamp insert allows the widest variety of cable sizes (up to 12 gauge) and types. Its superior clamping power and strain-relief design makes its much less likely that the cord will ever be separated from the connector.
The Marinco 320IEC13 is rated for service at 65°C. UL and CSA allow its use at 15 amps, while European agencies permit 10 amps (220-240VAC).
